5 Days Samburu & Masai Mara Flying Safari
The Masai tribe famous for their authentic culture, the wildebeest migration, the big five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) – Masai Mara National reserve has it all.
It is no wonder then that this idyllic park is one of most popular safari destinations in Kenya.
The Samburu National Reserve is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river, on the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve in Northern Kenya. It is 350 kilometers away from Nairobi and ranges in altitude from 800 to 1230m above sea level. The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx (also referred to as Samburu Special Five)

The Masai Mara is a unique area adjoining the great Serengeti plains, which form part of the Serengeti plains national park – a 9,200 square mile Wilderness of semi-arid grasslands and woodland in Tanzania’s north western quarter, home to some of the greatest numbers of wildlife on earth. The Serengeti’s pulse beats to the migration cycle as vast herds of wildebeest and zebra surge up the plains in search of their hooves and the snarl of the predators that follow them – truly one of the last great natural wonders of the world.
